May I come early to decorate the Duffy?

You may access to decorate your rental 15 minutes prior to reservation start time. NO candles, confetti, glitter, powder, etc., Mylar balloons, balloons filled with anything (including, confetti / glitter/ powder) are not permitted. You are responsible for removing and taking decorations with you. Mylar (foil) balloons are ILLEGAL in the harbor and are not allowed on our boats. Regular rubber balloons are welcome. Decorations are to be removed and taken away by renter. There is a $100+ clean up fee for excessive clean up (confetti, etc) and for vomit.

Attention vendors

All outside vendors must contact Voyagers Rentals 24hr before their clients reservation. We charge a service fee for all vendors.

Where are you located?

VOYAGERS Boat Rentals is located on Balboa Island, at 504 S. Bayfront in Newport Beach, CA 92662

Is there parking?

Parking is free and located on the streets of Balboa Island. There is no designated parking lot on Balboa Island. Please allow extra time for parking.

Are restrooms available?

Our dock is located next to a Newport Beach public restroom, there are other public restrooms throughout the harbor which are featured on the routed map we go over with you before sending you off.

Can anyone rent a Duffy?

Driver must be 21 years or older to rent a Duffy boat. Driver may NOT be under the influence of alcohol / drugs and may get a DUI. A boat license is not required. Driver / renter is financially responsible for damages, late fee, cleaning fee (if applicable). We charge a $100 clean up fee for vomit. We provide a map of Newport Harbor with highlights routes to follow.

How many people do Duffy’s fit?

We have two (2) different Duffy sizes to accommodate your party. 12 person Duffy, seats 10 comfortably (children of all ages included). 8 person Duffy, seats 6-8 comfortably (children of all ages included).

What time should I arrive for my reservation?

We ask for you and your party to arrive 15 minutes before to get checked in and allow time for parking.

What if we arrive late, can we extend our ride?

Unfortunately, a late arrival to your reservation does NOT extend your boat’s return time to the dock. We charge a late fee of $50 for each 15 minutes the boat is past return time. Please allow extra time for parking.

Do you provide life jackets?

Yes, we do, for all ages. Children twelve (12) and younger are required to wear a life jacket. Infants in car seats or baby carriers are not required to wear one, but we will provide one for you to have. Adult life jackets are underneath the seats.

What can I bring?

You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages in a cooler. Each boat has a trash can for your convenience.

Are dogs allowed?

Service animals that’s are specifically trained to aid a disabled person are allowed. Unfortunately, we cannot allow any dogs on our rentals, even the small and super cute ones. We apologize for any inconvenience.

What is your cancelation policy?

No refunds. We have a 48-hour cancellation policy to receive company credit. You must cancel prior to 48 hours, otherwise, you are charged in full and forfeit company credit.

Is a security deposit needed for booking?

No, all reservations are prepaid. A $100 cleaning is applicable for smoking, swimming (wet seats) and excessive mess left behind. We encourage our guests to sit back and enjoy themselves, normal use is expected.

Can I play my own music on the boat?

Yes, each boat has an AUX cord &/or Bluetooth stereo.
